As Disability Employment Month comes to a close, we are excited to wrap up our series by celebrating Niki!
Niki takes pride in her role as a dishwasher at Great Lakes Naval Base and loves telling others about her work. She is friendly, reliable, and always brings a positive attitude to new experiences.
Niki also shines when it comes to independence. She confidently navigates her bus rides to and from work, a skill she is especially proud of!
Let’s give it up for Niki and all the amazing individuals with disabilities who make a positive impact in our workforce!
It is an honor to celebrate their accomplishments this month and all year long as we continue to promote inclusive employment and opportunities for everyone.
