If you’ve visited Lambs Farm recently or driven by on the highway, you may have noticed something exciting happening — our Farmyard is transforming before your eyes! The barn and surrounding areas are really beginning to take shape, and each day brings us one step closer to welcoming guests back to visit our animals and create lasting memories together.
This beautiful new space has been a dream in the making for many years. More than just a renovation, it represents an important step forward for our community by creating new opportunities for learning, connection, and growth for both our participants and visitors.
For our participants, the updated Farmyard will provide another meaningful choice for building skills, gaining confidence, and taking pride in their work. For guests, it will offer a more engaging and immersive experience with our animals, programs, and the mission that drives everything we do at Lambs Farm.
Construction has continued through unpredictable Midwest weather, including snowy winter days and heavy spring storms. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of the construction team, progress has continued moving forward every step of the way. We will continue sharing updates as they become available, and we are looking forward to welcoming back longtime guests while introducing many new visitors to the Farmyard experience.
During this time, our dedicated animal keepers have been spending extra time with our Farmyard friends and preparing for the exciting moment they can move into their new and improved homes once construction is complete.
