Chicharron, being the popular snake he is, had taken part in many camps, outreach programs and special events at schools, libraries, golf courses and beaches to teach the public about native snakes. With this kind of resume, Chicharron settled right into the Farmyard’s Discovery Center and continues to be an incredible ambassador animal. When he’s not educating the public about maintaining healthy ecosystems, he is most likely digging or burrowing through his substrate, creating tunnels or exploring.
