The Lambs Farm story began when Bob Terese and Corrine Owen started a pet shop in downtown Chicago in 1961. It was like every other small business with one exception; the 12 employees had developmental disabilities. When they opened the store’s doors for the first time, they planted the seeds of an idea that grew into the exemplary organization where over 220 adults with developmental disabilities continue to thrive today.
Please join us in celebrating the legacy of our co-founders, the joy Lambs Farm participants and the bonds we share with our four-legged friends at this fun event!
Admission is free for guests and dogs. We’ll have fun games for your pup, a cooling station, splash pads, pools, treats and keepsake crafts. Please note that for the safety of our farm animals, dogs are not allowed to enter the Farmyard.
