Pistachio is the first Russian tortoise to ever live at the Farmyard! Upon arrival, Pistachio had a difficult time adjusting to her new life and was unfriendly and standoffish. As time went on, Animal Keepers did everything they could do to help Pistachio become comfortable in her new home. After upping the temperature in her basking spot and experimenting with different foods, Pistachio finally started eating and is now a happy, friendly tortoise.
