Shipping & Receiving Assistant Manager

We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Assistant Manager to ensure internal and external customers receive their orders in an accurate and timely manner. This position monitors merchandise arriving and leaving the warehouse and handles all corresponding paperwork. Candidate must ensure all products are packed and organized for safe shipment; there is a high volume of shipments during the holiday season.

Additional Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Cleaning, organizing and labeling products in the warehouse and maintaining inventory labels
  • Weekly product deliveries to local retail stores
  • Provide training and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities¬†

High School Diploma, or equivalent required; good customer service skills; must have a valid Illinois driver’s license with a good driving record and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Two years of experience preferred in inventory control, purchasing and shipping desired. Must have working knowledge in Gmail and Microsoft Excel.
