We are seeking a detailed oriented individual as our Payroll Administrator. This person must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization are required. Knowledge of excel is necessary. Previous payroll experience with Insperity/Timestar and ABRA are preferred. This is a full-time salaried position. Key responsibilities are:
Manages the payroll programs/processes, including the integration of time from the Insperity time system. This includes reconciling and balancing all payroll data prior to transmission to the bank
Verify and submit bi-weekly, quarterly, and year end taxes
Close out payroll for the year-end process and verify all information is up-to-date.
Provide assistance to supervisors and employees with questions or concerns.
Works with the Manager of Human Resources with all files, employee records, and other administrative functions with individual agencies as required.
Training and Administration Specialist
We are seeking a full time Training and Administration Specialist to join the Education and Training Department.
Overview of duties:
Contribute to the teaching of Agency Employees and provide administrative support to the Education and Training department.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field and the candidate must already be QIDP approved and trained in the state of Illinois. Proficient in using Google Apps, Microsoft suite, and Internet browsers. Attention to detail and data entry at a minimum of 50 WPM. The most successful Candidate will have a combination of work experience, training and interpersonal skills. Public speaking skills are essential as well as the ability to communicate information clearly. Must become a certified Instructor for crisis intervention. Clerical duties vary and include: maintaining Microsoft Access database through registration activities, Employee record keeping/archiving, supporting Agency Instructors through material copying and processing, providing certificates for training courses as well as providing administrative support to the Manager of Education and Training for department initiatives, duties and projects.
BAKERY/SUGAR MAPLE COUNTRY PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE
We are seeking seeking an individual to assist in production of consistently high quality specialty foods including chocolate products as well as sauces, spreads, and baked good items. You would provide training and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities and must be able to work independently. A High School diploma or equivalent with experience in food production is required. You must have or obtain a sanitation certificate within 6 months of hire and be able to lift at least 50 lbs. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record for the previous 12 months.
THIRD SHIFT SECURITY OFFICER
Ensure the quality of life for participants, staff and guests by providing a safe and secure place to live, work and visit. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Background or exposure to any police or security work is beneficial. The ability to act and think independently while sometimes under pressure and or in emergencies with the ability to follow written and verbal direction. You must have a valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the prior year. Basic knowledge/skills in general building repairs in the case of physical plant emergencies. During non-business hours, you must be able to respond properly to physical plant and other emergencies. Starting pay $10.75 per hour. Hours: Saturday – Wednesday 12 am to 8 am.
REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse; currently registered in the State of Illinois as an RN. Hours are evenings and negotiable but will include occasional weekends (varied hours) and some holiday hours. New nursing graduates are welcome to apply.
HEALTH SERVICES ADVOCATE POSITION – FULL TIME
This position requires the transporting and accompanying Participants to their medical, dental, and ancillary appointments or procedures. Ideal candidate must be able to physically assist participants when required, have initiative, excellent attendance; detail oriented and be able to work independently. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Basic computer skills – Microsoft Word and e-mail, Excel and/or Access a definite plus. Must be able speak, read, and write English. Satisfactory completion of paid DSP training within 120 days of employment required. Valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the past 12 months required. Daytime hours: 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday (must be flexible with schedule).
HEALTH SERVICES ASSISTANT – PART-TIME
Assist with miscellaneous clerical duties of a medical office. This position will include transporting and accompanying participants to their medical, dental, and ancillary appointments or procedures. Must be able to communicate to health practitioners the needs of the participants and report health appointment outcomes in detail. Ideal candidate must be able to physically assist participants when required, have initiative, have excellent attendance, be detail oriented and able to work independently. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and email, and Excel and/or Access a definite plus. Must be able to speak, read and write English. Satisfactory completion of paid DSP training within 120 days of employment required. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Guaranteed 29 hours per week, daytime hours are between 9 and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (days and hours negotiable).
A dishwasher at Magnolia Cafe must be able to lift 50 pounds, do janitorial tasks, dish washing, and trash duties. All tasks as assigned.
SEASONAL SNACK SHOP
Food preparation, responsibility for cash register, and other duties as assigned for snack shop. Position is seasonal, Wednesday – Sunday from 10:00 – 4:00 p.m.
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian that provides nutritional care for individuals with intellectual disabilities based on their needs. This would include planning menus, individual consulting, conducting on-site meal monitoring, in-service training, and evaluating facility nutritional safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Determines need and requisitions food in conjunction with individual menus and modified diet plans; oversees food ordering from various vendors. Prepares nutritional evaluations (annually and quarterly) and attends Team meetings; various duties include, monitoring breakfast, lunch, and/or supper meal preparation and service to individuals on campus in our ICF/DD, CLFs and community CILAs on a routine basis and completes quarterly kitchen and pantry inspections, Supervises a part time dietary assistant and two residents that work one day a week allocating food for the residential areas, and prepares written reports of monitoring according to IDPH requirements.
Requires a valid Illinois Food Sanitation Certificate (this can be obtained during employment); possession of a Dietitian License from the Department of Professional Regulation, and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
LIVE-IN APARTMENT DIRECT SUPPORT PERSON
Rent apartment located in an on-grounds residential home, rent is $200 monthly. Applicant must be in the apartment from 10pm to 7am to facilitate any emergency situations and work from 7am to 9am as a Direct Support Person – starting pay is at $11.00 for DSP. In addition to these 10 hours per week this person must work between 20-30 hours in Residential or for another department. DSP Certification will be provided by Lambs Farm. Must have valid drivers license with a good driving record. Must be employed with Lambs Farm for a minimum of 120 days.
DIRECT SUPPORT PERSON
$250 SIGN ON BONUS (after completion of the 120 day training period). We are seeking a caring individual to assist adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and daily living skills. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. One to two years related experience preferred. DSP certification also preferred. Paid DSP certification training program is available (classes held Monday-Friday during normal business hours). You must show proof of a high school diploma or equivalent upon hire. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, pass a criminal background check, physical and drug screening. Part time and full time 2nd and 3rd shift positions that include working weekends available. Starting pay is $11/hour. Salary is higher with experience and DSP Certification.
VOCATIONAL MANAGER/HBS FACILITATOR
The Vocational Manager/HBS Facilitator is responsible to design and implement individual programs for persons with Intellectually Delayed Disabilities in community employment settings and to assist individuals and families in utilizing Home Based Services funding. A Bachelor’s degree in Education or Human Services field plus one-year experience working directly with people with intellectually delayed disabilities is required. Case Management experience preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. The person selected must be QIDP approved or able to complete the QIDP training within 6 months of employment. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
The Vocational Manager is the key person responsible for the design and implementation of employment and day programs for persons with Intellectually Delayed Disabilities. Duties include assessment of skills, coordination of both necessary and preferred activities for individuals, and providing training to individuals on the caseload. A Bachelor’s degree in Education or Human Services is required along with at least one year of experience with the Intellectually Delayed population. Working knowledge or Microsoft Word and Excel are necessary. The individual hired for this position must be QIDP approved or able to complete the required training within 6 months of hire date. All needed training is provided by Lambs Farm. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

The Job Coach provides on the job training and contract production services to meet individual needs of persons working at Lambs Industries. The ideal candidate is energetic, a self-starter and physically able to train persons on job tasks. High School diploma or equivalent required. One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
